My vision of UX/UI ... or how to respond to user needs and offer a fluid, intuitive experience where every interface element is designed to be where you would naturally look for it.
The starting is inspiration !
I always start by immersing myself in the spirit of the project and why it's being done. I immerse myself in current trends, analyze user behavior and look for the things that catch people's attention, whether in art, technology or fashion.
My aim is to observe how people interact with objects and technologies to better understand what interests them. Each idea is like a piece of a puzzle, which has to find its place in order to fit in with the overall vision of the project.
Then it's time to plunge into the sketches: wireframing... Imagining sketches and diagrams that outline the user experience.
This is the backbone of our work, the skeleton where our vision will come to life. It's here that everything begins to materialize, each element finds its place and interacts with the other elements.
It's like laying the foundations of a house before decorating it. This stage ensures that navigation will be fluid and intuitive, and that the main essential components are in place.
We enter the heart of the matter with the visual design. Colors, typefaces, icons... every element is carefully selected to create a visual harmony that captivates the user at first glance. It's at this stage that the interface really begins to speak, to tell the brand's story in a visual and immersive way. Colors must convey specific emotions and sensations. Typography must add character and personality, while icons must guide and enrich the user experience in a transparent yet effective way.
Every detail counts, because it's the sum of all these elements that creates a coherent experience. Visual design is much more than simple aesthetic choices; it's an alchemy of decisions that transforms a functional interface into a communicative “work of art”, and that's where I believe the magic of UI design lies: establishing an emotional connection with the user, ensuring that every interaction reinforces the brand's identity and values.
User testing is like a constant dialogue with the public. We listen carefully to their impressions, adjust accordingly and continually improve.
Every piece of feedback is invaluable, as it enables us to refine and fine-tune the interface. It's a dynamic process of listening and refining, where each iteration brings us closer to a more intuitive and efficient user interface. In short, it's by listening to users that we can create the best possible experiences.
To sum up, my approach is to create ‘unconstrained’ user interfaces, based on natural behaviour and observing how people use technology instinctively.
The aim is to offer a fluid, intuitive experience where every element of the interface is designed to be where the user would naturally look for it, so that they feel comfortable and in control.
It's a human-centred approach to more harmonious and relevant interactions.
